Thanks Jo, all that bare earth back in March just makes you despair when you look at it, it is so hard to imagine that it will ever be colourful again ! So much happens in such a short space of time !

Hi Stephanie, nature does all the work, not me :-) It is like magic every year! The obelisks do help the climbers to flourish, you're right, and they also give colour and structure for long periods. I grow sweet peas, clematis and climbing roses mainly.
